Empirical, a rapidly growing startup in the field of machine learning and behavioral science, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Lead to join the company for a full-time job in Tel-Aviv.
This is an opportunity to lead business development at Empirical, hand in hand with our CEO, and to learn and evolve within an interdisciplinary team of professionals from diverse fields (e.g. data science, technology, psychology, and business).

About the job:

The Business Development Lead has a key role in establishing and continuously improving Empirical’s sales’ infrastructure. Hand in hand with our CEO, you will lay the foundations for our unique business development methodology. On a daily basis, you will think, apply, test, and adjust new and original ways to develop our business.

As a core function in a growing team, you will have a meaningful impact on our business strategy. By uncovering business opportunities, helping us gain deeper insights into our target clients’ needs, and further establish our brand awareness, you will take a leading part in our scaling.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Native English speaker
  • Experience in performing marketing campaigns (Google AdWords/LinkedIn)
  • Highly proficient in Excel, PPT, and Google Slides

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.A in business/marketing or other relevant fields
  • 2 years of previous experience in sales/business development
  • Experience with selling SAAS for enterprise
  • Experience in community management
  • At least one year of experience in data analysis
  • At least one year of experience working with statistical analysis software (i.e.: SPSS, Statistica, R, Stata)

Responsibilities

  • Structure all sales processes - Define stakeholders, stages, and content
  • Perfect our “go-to” market strategy
  • Conduct research and set up and manage our marketing strategy (i.e. Content and Channels)
  • Setup and continuously document sales processes on CRM
  • Manage Empirical’s community of professionals - source and add new members, manage our online platform, post content and create value for network members, and organize community meetups and conferences
  • Build stakeholders’ surveys, analyze them, and present results for management
